Please tell me you shot the deer during the day??
I can see how that could raise a flag, no sir, at night!

Im a part of a deer depredation pass in eastern nc. DNR grants us a pass to harvest 75 deer off of soybean fields.

Pass specially states, "mamal deer" so gender doesnt matter, any time, and any "legal weapon" whatever that means lol.

We have roughly 10,000 acres of soybean fields to hunt and it keeps me busy 3 months out of the year.

Just a reminder that in NC, both species of fox are considered "game animals" and legal shooting ends 30 minutes after sundown, and also that e-calls are illegal for fox and bobcats. Unless your time is wrong on the Oneleaf, you are close to an hour past legal shooting.

Good looking out! Again, I follow the law to a T. The fox shot was for a local bird farm. The farmer raises qual and pheasant for guided hunts.

Retrieved a permit for fox from game warden, on account of different predators killing game birds. Alleviates the time frame restrictions.

Is white hot a southern thing? I run black hot in the winter(Nov-March ish) with a white reticle. Or is WH a setting that works well on YT file transfers?

I run white hot to not burn out my eye as bad.

White hot makes most the screen dark so it causes less strain on my eye. Ive tried back hot and It feel like i stared into a welding arc when I look away after 30 minutes in the optic.

There is simply no comparison I have a couple of AGM/HIKMICRO units and 2 other 640 units that just don't compete with the Oneleaf Mars outright.
Its has the best in rangefinder function which is super important and more so when coupled with a ballistics calcultir as when a unit doesn't detect a range the ballistics simply can't deliver an amended POA

WHEN IT COMES TO VALUE the Oneleaf Mars kills the other offerings.

MOST OTHER UNITS AT THE PRICE POINT ARE SIMPLY HAND HELD MONOCULRS LET ALONE A FULLY OPTIONED RIFLE SCOMPED.
AND FINALLY SUPA PICTURE QUALITY as seen in the above post.

I’ll ask again, are all the videos from 384 units or is the Oneleaf 640. If it’s a 384 unit, I’ll agree it’s superior in that video comparison. But also looking at the videos, most deer depredation down here is done prior to our season and in HIGH humidity. Heck, 9 months out of the year I’m thermal hunting is high humidity. While I haven’t looked through a Oneleaf, I do have and AGM and IRay and they’re just as clear when looking through the scope. And they’re both a couple to three years old.
