You must have coyotes in order to call them in or catch them. If you don’t have coyotes you will not be a successful caller or trapper.

Always look for sign, tracks and scat when walking into a stand, it will tell you a lot.
Wind in your face or a crosswind, Sun at your back, make slow calculated movements, scan with your eyes, shoot straight.

It's probably just me being critical, but I kind of hate listening to Geoff talk. If you have ever listened to him talk on a podcast or a video, just try to keep track of how many times he says "You know". It's really pretty remarkable! Lol.
 
I feel like Geoff is taking advantage of people's desire to skip to the end goal and not go through the learning curve on their own. He isn't going to help you much anyways and nothing beats field experience.
