Had the opportunity to head down to Texas to film a hunt, and while I was there, I was unexpectedly given the chance to harvest a buffalo. Definitely a hunt I’ll never forget.
Gotta be more to the story than this, Jeremy.I was unexpectedly given the chance to harvest a buffalo.
A high-fence ranch needed a promotional video, and I planned on just filming. They had a kid shoot a blackbuck and a bull buffalo, then they told me I could take a cow too.Gotta be more to the story than this, Jeremy.Tell us more...what rifle did you use, and............
Took it to a processor. The guide is coming up here to hunt and bring me the meat and head tomorrow. The bull was huge.Hunt of a lifetime, congrats.
Bet it took many hours to butcher that bison.
Actually there’s a little more to the story. Years ago, the ranch had bought some of Ted Turner’s bulls and cows to start their herd. They also had one problem bull that kept tearing up fences and causing issues with the herd, so they moved him to a separate pasture for this hunt.Gotta be more to the story than this, Jeremy.Tell us more...what rifle did you use, and............
How did those burger bullets do?
Jeremy can you give an estimate of how tall your Bull was in the hoof?
The one I shot ran about 30 yards after one shot. The bull the kid shot just stood there and ate 3 before going down. They jellied the internal organs with no pass-through.
Not really, I never stood close to one standing.
Did you find any intact bullets?
