Optic Zone & Mueller Scopes....

Just get my secong Mueller ( 3-9x40 ) from the Optic Zone. First one ( 6-14x50 ) is AWESOME piece of glass for the money. If the second one is as good, I will be a dedicated customer for a LONG time. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

This is a 1st Class operation. Don't be afraid if doing business with them or buying a Mueller scope. They usually ship on the following business day, and e-mail you a shipment notification with a tracking link. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Sorry to ramble on about this.......but in this day & time of money-grabbing fee-charging ripoffs, this place is a breath of fresh air. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thanks, Optic Zone! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

I'll second that on thier service and coustomer care.
Didn't go Muller but the Weavers were shipped quick and the price was the best I could find.
Nice people to deal with.

I also have had the same experience with Mueller Scopes and The Otic Zone. Great scope for the money, and great customer service to go along with it. Would buy one again, and from The Optic Zone. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-006.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/bowingsmilie.gif

My dad just got his Mueller Eradicator scope from the Optic Zone and was very pleased. Mueller scope are some excellent optics for the money. VERY clear and undistorted view. I am hoping to get the 3-10 x 44 IGR soon!! Looks like the Optic Zone is going to have my family's buisiness for a long time coming!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

Don't mean to rain on anybody's parade but I have a complaint about Mueller scopes. At least the 4-16 and the Eradictor. With my old tired eyes I cannot focus the reticle or dot even with the eyepiece all the way out. I am not the first person to complain about this problem. Other than that I liked the scopes but I got tired of the blurring reticle so I sold both.

Optic Zone is a class business, I have done business with them serveral times.

Isn't Mueller made in China?
I've heard plenty of complaints against optics made in China.
If Mueller is this good, China has done quite a bit of catching up with everyone else in the optic business.

Got a Burris from Optic Zone recently.
Optic Zone was a pleasure to deal with!!!!
Can't say the same for Burris. The scope had a problem (windage adjustment cap stripped), and when I e-mailed them they asked if they could just give me a free dust cover instead of returning the scope. Of course I said no, I am not looking for something for free I just want my new scope to be correct. They said send it back and we'll fix it in two or three weeks. I did not appreciate their "throw money at the problem" attitude. Burriss' customer service is dissapointing at best. I certanly won't buy another.

First, on the topic of The Optic Zone, Jon and his wife
are almost too nice to be in the retail business(grin).
I have had nothing but positive experiences with them
with several scope purchases, and one scope problem.
They are my first scope shopping stop, and in most cases,
my last.

As for Mueller, I was very impressed with a 4-16x50mm
Sport Dot, that I purchased for The Optic Zone. I put
it on my Tikka T-3, in .223 Rem. zeroed it, and shot a couple
of groups, looking to find a decent load, for some summer
varmints around the homestead. I quickly found a load that
works well enough for garden raiders, and put the gun in the
corner in my reloading room, for quick shots out the window
overlooking the back meadow. About 3 weeks ago, I
picked the rifle up, to take out one of the young bunnies,
looking to harvest some of my produce, and I noticed
beads of moisture on the lens on the Mueller. I called
The Optic Zone, mainly to get a copy of my reciept,
so I could send in the scope for "repair". Jon's wife
gave me Rich's phone number, and told me to call him,
after she first checked when I purchased the scope, for
the possibility that it would fall under their return period.
It did not, so I called Rich, and he said, "Sounds like the
seal went". He quickly added, "Mark it sent for replacement",
and he gave me a shipping address. I dropped it off at the
local UPS shipping desk, 9 business days ago. If I haven't
received a replacement by next Monday, I will do a follow
up call to Rich, at Mueller Optics. So far the warranty
service at Mueller Optics has been excellent. If I get
this scope back within a few days, that assessment
will continue to be excellent.

I've been happy as a lark with my mueller 4-16 with the mildots. One thing for sam - if you run into the focus problem sometimes you have to turn the objective end in or out a turn or two - not supposed to be that way, but it usually works.

I was talking about the reticle not being able to focus, not the target.

Squeeze,

Sorry to yell at you, but our store name is "The Optic Zone", not with an "S". The site refers to some other business that I am not very keen on. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Jon,

SORRY about that! I edited the post! Since that OTHER
place pulled that garbage, I have not been very keen
on them either. I have never purchased anything
from them, but I have done some looking around
their site, before I found The Optic Zone. After their
snake in the grass stunt with domain names, I will NEVER
go there, again. Sir, if I ever make that mistake again, YELL
AWAY! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Just a follow up on the question of customer support.
In a previous reply on this thread I wrote about a
4-16x50mm Mueller Sport Dot, that went in for
an apparent bad seal. Well last night a new one
showed up at my door, along with a smilie face,
and a new Team Mueller hat. That was nine working
days since I put it on the local UPS shippers desk,
until I found it on the door step at the new house
still under construction. It could have even been
there for a day, since neither I nor the construction
crew were there yesterday. The new scope looks
good, and I am going to make a fashion statement
at the range with my new hat(grin).
Thanks to Rich, at Mueller Optics, for the excellent service.
Leupold has nothing on Mueller Optics in the customer
service area.
