I ordered a scope on Saturday afternoon. I received it before luck today. Now that's what I call good service. Free shipping to. A big thumbs up to Optics Planet!!!
 
the big problem i have with Optics Planet....

they will display/sell you an item that shows in stock, and its not until after you complete the sale that you find out its on backorder.

like.. hard pass on that sh!t. totally turned me off as a customer.
 
If they have the best price, I'll buy from them w/o hesitation. 4 or 5 times this month with zero issues.
 
I'm I the same boat as Plant. Happened once and took 3 months to get the item that was supposed to be in stock. Gave them one more chance and it was 8 months before I received the bullets that showed in stock. Never again.
 
If OP has the best price and I'm not in a hurry, I'll buy from them. I've also had the same experience as PO and Bruised with items showing in stock and them not shipping for weeks and months.
 
So if they didn't arrive in a reasonable time, why didn't you just cancel the order? I would have. Just asking.
That's exactly what I did.

Just upset about the deception of showing that a clearly backorder item as "in stock" and not being honest about it until $ changed hands.


That's poor business practice lying to your customers until after they get your $. I will not condone it by giving them more $ going forward.

They lost me as a customer because of it.
