HI All I'm new here. I'm very impressed with the amount of info. I was wondering if anyone uses the Optronics Motion Pro 1000? It looks like it would be practical for hunting alone. It could be mounted on a mast for elevation and free ones hands for handling calls or a gun. I was thinking I'm mount one on my ATV along with my marine deep cycle bat. that way when I get to the stand I'd already have that done. I'd just need to switch it on. Any opinions about this light?

I think it would be too slow and potentially noisy - when you are calling and trying to cover 360 degrees, you need to scan fast.

waiting for somehting to turn would drive me crazy.

just my $0.02...

Thanks for your feedback, I've taken a couple of yotes this year while deer hunting and could have taken many more. I'm new to night hunting. I'm trying to think of some way to hold a red light on eyes while keeping hands free.
Perhaps a headlight with a hard hat.

I use a camera tripod as do many others. I set the tripo up on my right hand side and can scan wuth it. I then have my rifle and sticks on my left (I am left handed). Search up for a post by Weasel, he has a great setup where the light, camera and gun can all mount on a camera tripod.

Good luck.
