Insane laws. In California You can be target shooting with standard lead core bullets but if a rodent hopes up on a rock 10’ away by law you have to be using a lead free bullet! Its like the no common sense law about using non lead shot while duck hunting. I understand when your on a marsh But according to the goofy law if your hunting ducks in a pasture or in a flyway where there isn’t any water for over a mile you still have to be using steel shot!!!! In Nevada i can be hunting quail and Chukar along a creek with lead, no problem but if a duck jumps up I have to have all steel shells with me. Thats totally looney. I have no problem with any law but when they’re this stupid??? A common sense law would read that anyone hunting with a shotgun within 500 yards of a creek, river, pond, or lake must use steel shot. If anyone is hunting waterfowl miles from any body of water steel shot should not be mandatory it doesn’t make any rational sense surely our lawmakers aren’t that incompetent. However mental instability with our Government has become the norm. Identify as a girl and you will be recognized as a girl. 50 years ago in our Country you would be in a mental institution
