Other States that don't allow Semi's?

Pafurhunter
I usually Deer hunt with a bolt gun, but I have used Single Shots & a Semi a couple of times. I used the semi the same way as I did the bolt, squeeze the trigger once & collect the Deer. I don't need to shoot more than once at a Deer just because I can & I don't need some pencil-necked Liberal
deciding for me what to use, it is NONE of their business
what action type I use. These laws are stupid & I will not
live in such an area because other stupid laws will exist, you can count on that. Here in AR. we don't have mag. restrictions or any of this nonsense nor am I aware of even one occassion where it was needed or would have prevented anything! Even when Klinton was Gov., he kept his pasty
white mouth closed on this issue because he knew that is the political kiss of death here. Then predictively he showed his Commie colors at the Fed. level but that is another story.

I hope I have conveyed my feelings on this matter.

yes, absolutely it is an idiot problem, not a gun problem. Unfortunately, PA has a LOT of idiots and a very high density of hunters. It's scary just to be out there with bolt, lever, and pump guns blasting away. Nobody will ever admit to it, but here in PA people like to unload their magazines as long as the animal is still moving, whether their first shot looked good or not. Thats why I like to hunt at night, and in bow season. I've heard too many ricochets and been peppered by too many shotgun pellets to count. Semis are the last thing we need here.

When we last pm'd I was checking out TN regs and saw that about the .22 cal and buckshot & deer season. you know most of the folks I know out there it didnt bother them, they really didnt know what they were missing. It struck me odd that most of them were over gunned with their 7mm mags at 75 yard shots

.I never really understood why nobody out there put up a fuss about that. I'm glad to hear it's beed addressed. If I'm ever out that way again I sure would like to work my way over to you and shake your hand, and do some hunting with ya.

PA has a bunch of lame laws, many other states have a few as well. I was born and raised there, but I'm glad I don't live there any longer. Deer opener in PA sounds like WWIII. Have they passed anything allowing hunters to hunt on Sunday yet? I understand their initial reasoning hundreds of years ago, but how does that play into wildlife mgmt when people use up most of their vacation time for deer season each year?

Lamest PA law. Beer purchases! Less than a case - bars are the only option - Even dumber, you can't walk out with more than two six packs at a time.

Case of beer: you have to go to a distributor for any size a case or larger. You can buy a case or more, but save $ and drive to the distributor.

PA Politicians/ locals logic: It will take money away from the bars. Well sure let's just have everyone out drinking and driving then shall we.
