Ox horn....SOLD

Here is a piece of Ox horn....been hanging on to it for a while....it is blonde and almost transparent, this dude is turned thin, but the pics don't show it very well. This one is in the closed reed configuration, can be voiced as the Arky Cottoncandy or Arky standard w/ brass JC reed and sleeve.

This one is more like one of Clint Eastwood's little cigars...lean and slender....as always no finish, just polishing out the wazoo...

Joe, the shape & lines of that call remind me of a mature man's "hot rod" deuce coupe...
so sweet & simple, it needs nothing else to take your breath away, even while sitting still. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Someone will get a heck of a bargain to cherish! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

That is true craftmanship something to use and to hand down to the next hunting generation. Who am I kidding I would be buired with that one.

Thanks guys....

Eric, my "Cottoncandy" reed system is entirely different from the other JC sleeve/reed set up. The way it is set up, it allows you to "over blow" the call. This lets you do very high pitches and also bird sounds and a sqawking sound...when not overdriven, it does standard bunny sounds with very little air. It can also be blown very softly.

These sounds are made with the Cottoncandy call...
