painting a synthetic stock....what kind of paint?

I did not want to step on anyones toes as to what kind of paint to use as there are some that are selling this service
on here and I did not want to disrespect them with the how to's of there trade!

I am going to do a desert digicam job on my 700P 223 and I
don't know what kind of paint to use on the stock that will be real strong and not flake off.

I was planing on using on of the bake on type ceramic finishes on the barrel(wholesale sports) as this would be a real tough
finish for the 26"tube

any info would be great /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Krylon Fusion camo spray paints. I have done several rifles and it works great.Do a search some guys do a really creative job on their rifles and they look SWEET! The nice thing about it is you can re-do them if your not satisfied.

Yeah what Gander said. They can be changed if you hate the outcome.

I would laso suggest Krylon Camo colors thay are awesome colors and are pretty durable.

I might also add to use Krylon primer as the first couple of coats it will help the paint from chipping away as fast from the abuse of the field
