Here is a brief summary of what I read off the PSA industry forum over on ARFCOM. Looks like they got hammered, I know it is not much help to you now, but looks like they are attempting to address the problems.
From ARFCOM:
"I would like to take a moment to thank everyone for the overwhelming response to our Christmas sale.
We are aware that there has been a major communication problem during the holiday season. Our order volume has been up 1200% over last years sales for the same period. We never could have predicted this and were caught totally off guard.
On the monday after Black Friday we began receiving around 1,000 e-mails per day requesting the status of the customers order. We currently have the capacity to answer about 600 e-mails per day and be able to answer the phones. The avalanche of e-mails began to snowball and we were in a position where it was physically imposible to respond to all of the e-mails. We brought some new people on to assist, but it was difficult to train employees in the middle of the chaos.
We were caught off guard by the sheer staggering amount of e-mails and phone calls.
There are three solutions being put in place. The first solution is to order a phone system that is able to handle the call volume. The second solution is to establish a way to track the progress of the customers order by logging into our web site. The third solution is to give the customer an option to select an FFL on the web site.
All three of these plans are being put into motion as we speak. We have been working on a new web site with an AR Upper Builder, LPK builder etc. The web site will be up in a few weeks and we will intergrate the order tracking feature and FFL selection feature in the new web site. I believe that this should alleviate the overwhelming e-mails.
We want to thank everyone for the orders.
Jamin"

Just saw this as well.
