Partcle board for bench top

I have a friend who is a cement contractor. Each winter he rebuilds his damaged forms. So i bought a 4x8 sheet of Dura Form from him. 16 ply 1 1/8 inch thick. Two of the 16 plys are some form of plastic. Tough as nails. I could park a tank on that bench. Dura Form is a company in Madison Wisc. If you so inclined.
 
Thank you all again.. I scratched the particle board and went with 2x12 laying flat with 1/2 inch sanded plywood on top.. Built a L shape frame with 2x4s with 16 centers for support..
I am trying to get pics off phone to post but not doing a good job at it yet..

A lot of wasted space with the old reload desk setup.. It worked really good at old home..

Also 12 outlets on 3 breakers.. Can never have enough outlets I have come to realize.. Dan

For a work bench I used the white plastic covered partial board on top of 2X4's.
Used 4 or 5 screws to hold it in place.
If I mess the surface up I can get a new board and have a new top.
Then, I screwed my bench to the concrete floor.
 
I'm using a 1/4" sheet of Hardboard gluded to a 3/4" piece of plywood. Smooth surface, and screws will hold in the plywood.
