I thought it was hi do to the fact that most people are high when they buy them and high when they shoot them.

Pawn shops are not built on the idea of fair business. They hose people on both ends.

I, for one have a hard time walking by a pawn shop without dipping in to look around... Its rare to find a steal, but it can happen. I bought a Vexilar FL-18 for 125 bucks, used but in the package one time. The only pawn gun I own is a Savage 340c in .222, and I bought that to chop and use as a truck gun. I believe I paid 200 bucks for it... But I have seen a plether 870's that had little finish left on the metal and rotten birch stocks for over 300 bucks, a million relic looking Mosin knock offs for 500+ on the shelves across the state though... gotta look n laugh some times.
