Hey guys, just wonderin who has a pellet gun and what they hunt with it? Who makes it? Whats the caliber? What are the FPS on it? What is you longest shot and kill with it? Anything! Give us the scoop!

Hey budyy I can go on forever about airguns or pellet guns as you say. Ive had RWS48,, Pro Sport,, Pro Elite,, TX200, Logun MK11,,Beeman Kodiak,, FWB124. Anyway get the picture. The nost powerful was the Logun MK11 but it is charged by scuba tank and shoots 22 cal at around 1000 FPS. Ive hunted squirrels rabblits and took a coon with one and alot of grackles. If you are looking for a squirrel gun the,,,,,,, Get 22caliber and do not buy the Gamo ,s. Get anything from beeman or RWS. My favorite would have to be a TX200 in 22 caliber. Its a sinle stroke under lever and deadly. Hey I just remembered go to www.straightshooters.com and look under their products line. The TX200 is made byAir Arms out of england. The also make the Pro SPort same as TX but hidden under lever. Ck it out. One more thing if you relly want to see some cool guns go to Big BOre Air guns. They are killing hogs, deer , elk etc with 50 calibers.

iv got a gamo hunter 440 .177 cal shoots 1000 fps and yes iv killed squirrels, rabbits and coons with it out to 40 yards. black birds lots of the lol (they are fun to shoot lol)

i love my benjamin sheridan in 20 cal....just accurate as could be and very deadly....squirells..cats...coons...all one shot..a great buy
 
I have an RWS 350 magnum and I love it. Mine is a .22 caliber and has a good bit of power. It is advertised to shoot 1000 fps. Not sure what pellet weight that is with but i use crossman premier domed pellets and it is deadly on birds squirrells and rabbits. I have kiled birds around 50 yds or so with mine.

.177 cal. I dont like it much.
Im after chipmunks mostly with mine and the 1000fps .177 just punches a little hole in them and they run. Hardly any blood. My neighbor has a Gamo that shoots in the 600fps range and the same pellets out of his gun do a lot more damage on impact.
I have targets at 35 and 45 yds and that is about the max I would shoot. I do think that bigger targets like squirrels and coons would suit 1000fps better.
I have shot several brands of hollow points into milk jugs and got virtually 0 expansion. It will poke them through 2 jugs laying down lengthwise which really suprised me.
Neighbors gun will keep the pellet in jug #1 and they do expand at the slower velocity.
The big spring guns also take quite a bit to [beeep] them.
Mine says 38lbs to [beeep] and I would be it takes 50lbs of pressure to break it open. My wife cant [beeep] it so a kid would have big trouble with a big springer also.

Just my experience with the gun this year. Next year ill have .22 cal.
 
why did you bleep out the word [beeep]? is that not the technical term? haha sorry

they make some good pellets for the 17 cal that is goin at 1000 or better. i like using the "crow killer" hollow points. they expand hard core and kill a squirrel with some authority!
 
I have a crossman 760 with a 6 power scope. I use it for hunting squirels in the city limets at my grammas. if it wasnt in city limets i would use a 22 or a 410
 
i would use a gun regularly but i use a pellet pistol in my neighborhood from crosman, .22cal pellet pistol, model 2240 600 fps runs on 12gram co2 cartrages, i used to have a pumpmaster 760 but after like 5 years it started not to pumb so i got a pistol so i could hide it better from people that are scared of guns and i got .22 cal because it kils better even though its slower, i kill squirrels, chimpunks rabbits sometimes, fox squirrels starling
 
it was explained to me by michael that the software does it automaticly and does not make distinctions between a term for a person and a name such as D I C K Cheney
 
Ive got 3 all.117 one is a crossman i dont know what the other 2 are im gettin a new one formy b day hopefully it looks and fells like a shotgun it just shoots like a bb gun. i mostly shoot rats in the barn targets squirrel rabiits if im lucky .

Thats if I see that report card is good........
