Not a whole lot out there. From what I found there is no "one" good place.
Rimfirecentral has a section but not a ton of traffic there.

What kind of pellet gun ya got (or intereseted in) Maybe I can find one for ya.

I have a Diana model 34 with a BSA 4x32ao
and it is awesome. If I do my part it will shoot
1/2'' 5 shot groups at 50ft all day.
It has many squirrels in its past and in its furture. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Tripod I didnt even see your post. I feel kinda silly after finding it. The web sites I put up dont work. Im glad yours does.Nothing like shooting a real springer to learn follow through and free recoil. I liked the PCP,s I had and took squirrels out as far as 50 yards no problem.

I used to have a Career 707 in .22 and one on 9mm
both would shoot out to 50 yards + with no problem.
I shot many a backyard racoon with the .22

the 9mm one would fire a 76 gr pellet out at around 900 FPS
the .22 would fire a 29 gr pellet at around 1100 FPS

sorry for the long delay. In the .177 caliber, I have an El Gamo hunter. I use heay hunting pellets and have never had a problem on rabbits out to 20-30 yards. It is a very accurate, break barrel design.

Another option is that if you were looking for a more precision airgun is the CZ s200s. It is a great rifle that uses compressed air. It is very accurate. My rifle team in High School used this type of air rifle in the nationals and did very well. In fact they just took second place in the NRA match.

The only problem with the gamo is that the trigger sucks. You can modify it and I would recomend it. The con on the CZ is that it is Compressed air powered so you will need access to a scuba tank to refill it. DO NOT use your average garage compressor. The air is not filtered enough and will ruin the valve.

Sorry it is so long winded, hope this helps. If you have any other questions PM me.

Yote Hunter Union, I would agree with all the links that dave suggested. If you really want to learn more about the accuracy end of the rifle and how to get the most out of it. I would advise hanging out in the yellow forum. Great bunch of folks on there, that are more than willing to share their knowledge with newcomers. I'm currently shooting an Air Arms TX200MK3 in .177 it IMO can shoot better than I can shoot it. I just got a LD pistol from Mac1, it's just amazingly accurate to me at least. Hope this helps and happy airgunning...............
