Pentax Gameseeker Scopes

I had poor luck with the one I owned. Straight 6x and the reticle broke when mounted to a lowly 223 AR15.

Weaver Classic V,Nikon Prostaff, Burris Timberlines, Redfield and a few others are $30.00-$40.00 more and well worth it IMO.
 
I had one that was off eleven in. at 100yards from 3 to 9 power, glass was pretty good [beeep]. Sent it back, i believe there is a game seeker 2 out now, dont know about them, maybe they fixed them. ed
 
I have the Pentax scope listed in Sportsmans catalog, 4-12x40. Good price on it. I have the same reticle but don't particulary care for the BDC in it since I have no use for it. Optics are decent, nothing to gripe about, nothing to brag about. Had mine on a 300 savage cartridge rifle till recently....probably 70-100 rounds downrange with it. Replaced it because I wanted a higher power scope for target shooting.
 
I have a 3x9x40 and a 4x12x40. The 3x9x40 is currently not on anything, but was on a 50cal muzzleloader. The only reason it's off is I put a red dot on it for my 8yo to get his 1st deer and never got around to putting it back on.

The 4x12x40 is on my .243win.

I've had no issues with either....I think mine are GS II's.
 
I have a 4x12x40 Gameseeker on a 22-250. Very good clean sharp images, easy to sight in. I like the BDC as it will give you at least a ballpark of the drop at distances.

I will buy another..

While I have not had to use it, the warranty from all accounts is outstanding!

And... they are FULLY WATERPROOF..
