I am still trying to get a buck this year without any luck so far. I was on the stand this morning and saw a big coyote slip across my shooting lane about 150 yards away. I grabbed my iphone and pulled up Byron's Convergent call app and started it playing baby cottontail hoping he would come back out.

About 30 seconds later a second coyote popped out and stopped looking towards the call.

I dropped her with the .270 and switched to the ki-yis for minute or two. The big one didn't show, so I stopped it and pulled the gun back in. A few minutes later another coyotes pops out, and must have smelled the blood of the one I shot because it did a 180 before I could get a shot.

This was the second coyote I called with the phone app, but the one I called with it last year came in so fast I could not get a shot as it ran through my narrow lanes.

Nice job, I have a full playlist on my iPhone dedicated to coyote and distress calls. Nothing better then elk hunting and being able to play those calls early in the morning. May not always get them to come in but sure is fun listening to them. Great picture.
 
Nice job. My buddy downloaded a free predator call app, plugged in a speaker to his iphone and called in two coyotes one morning. He still needs a little practice in the shooting dept but he brought them in.........for free.
 
That camera is very good, and you put it to good use, CONGRATS on all your success. Hogs and predators live in fear on your land.
 
My son has a jbl bluetooth speaker that is in the shower waterproof. It ia about the size of a 1liter coke bottle that rocks Byrons sounds. Byron has it going on with this app style thing. I like the bullet because of the built in stand and decoy but that jbl will drop in your coat pocket.

Good job Hammer. I have some howling every evening by my deer stand. Just waiting on deer season to end and then I will have the place to myself.
