Have been having a great season so far. Due to the weather I was able to run my traplines longer than usual. I also managed to get a few trips in to keep it intresteing.

My GWP Bud with a gray fox.

My Mtn. Cur Shorty with a grizz getter held coon.

Big male coyote and Shorty. He's cautious around the old males.

Nice white YOY female.

This was a hot location that produced 11 coyotes and several red and gray fox.

Female caught after deer season. She had a bullet hole in her back leg that was healing nicely. Not bothering her anymore.

This was an old grizzled female caught at a scent post. She had no teeth left and was missing a few toes on a front foot and a back foot.

YOY female. Wouldn't come out for a picture.

Cool Customer. Male.

Gray Fox.

Had Bite marks across it's back. I caught coyotes at this location the next 3 checks so chances are I got the culprit. Fur was in good shape.

Red Fox.

Coyote, Shorty, and Myself. During deer season.

Merry Christmas. I called this one in Christmas eve morning.

Just so no one thinks I'm only a fur snob.

South Dakota december pheasants.

Lake Superior Lake Trout.

Mississippi River Smallmouth.

Mississippi River Walleye.

Buck. I got him about 100yds behind the house in the old hometead yard eating apples.

A few more and thats it.

Spring snow geese from MO.

Bowhunting for Bufflers. That's good eating on the hoof.

Hope you guys enjoyed.

I have a bunch more from my waterline and calling but have to resize them and then will post.

Call often and shoot straight.

A couple of years ago I hunted with some guys out in South Dakota and we used Cow Boards to sneak them. That was a blast. I used to hunt them from Texas throught the Dakotas in the spring but have cut back to just Mound City area of MO. I hunt a ranch in Nebraska now for spring coyotes during calfing. That can get intense.

I used to hunt the spring snows from the southern border of NE to the northern border of ND, but now I just hunt them in SD alone. It's the shortest drive /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

Thanks for sharing DTOM those pictures are amazing. I haven't trapped since I was in Jr. high (31 now) but it brought back good memories and I can't wait to show my son how some day.

Looks like you must be single, you have a VERY understanding spouse, or indenpendently wealthy, because it looked like a lot of time in the field. I'm jealous

What part of the state are you in again?

Dutchboy- I do have a very understanding wife. I spend A LOT of time in the fields or on the water. I live in East Central MN just Southwest of Pine City but I pretty much hunt/ trap the entire state.

I do slow down a bit in the summer but during fur season I hit it like mad.

It's like an addiction or an obsession depending on who you ask.

Thanks for the comments guys.
