Im thinking about coating a couple of firearms making the Flat Dark Earth. Can you guys give some pics of what you used and your experiences with the products?

Durakote is easy to use. I don't use a reducer or flatner, I got a cheap HPLV gun from napa and I do all the spraying with that. I just need a bigger air compressor

Same thing only I put to much hardner in it, that's why it's so shiny. Handguard is fde and upper and barrel are desert sand

Check out Duracoat Shake N Spray

The shake and spray is ok but it runs out of propellant fast.

The guy who wanted the paintjob wanted "alot of skulls or something" I put that one in and made the rest leaves. He is very happy.
