Great going finger!!! glad to see another south texas boy on here. i grew up in victoria and do some hunting in sabinal.
dont worry wallbass45 there are more greys down there than you can shake a stick at.

Thanks y'all. Just moved here a year ago from Jacksonville, North Carolina. Deer season was good to me and now I want to learn this varmint/preditor stuff.

Nice looking fox for the time of year. I haven't seen many grays lately (coyote food), but I'd of expected a poorer pelt than that with some rubbing? Looks nice. If that's your first kill, you should get that hide tanned and get the skull cleaned.

As for the mommy stuff, if it's legal, and you can sleep at night with your decision, do can I! Personally I don't hunt before I think the pups can feed themselves, but I have no problem with those who do. As long as you're season is open, it's a personal decision.

I do wish the numbers of grays would rebound where I hunt though (N. AZ). Seen a few the last couple years, but only called in one. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
