I was going thru my old pictures of when I owned hounds. My hounds were running walkers and i used no guns. These hounds were nothing fancy but would flat run a coyote down and kill it from jump to finish. Hope you enjoy. I sure miss the hounds

you notice the same dog on the business end of the deal each time. He was only 2 years old in these pictures. Angus was his name. He was Pickett breed. More to come

thats all that have made it to my new computer. I sold my whole pack of hounds to a group of hunters in the U.P. of Michigan.

Nice pics. What kind of dog carrier is that? Looks sweet.

Them dogs got after it. Did you move to a region where you couldn't use dogs?

The aluminum dog box was a "buddy box" very nice quality and the best made for the style of hunting we did. It only weighed 130lbs and filled my entire truck bed. I do miss my hounds greatly but I didn't like all the backstabbing and cut throat of alot of the houndsmen. I did meet some truly genuine people that taught me alot and showed me the ropes and I was just a high school / college kid at the time. But then you had the guys who tried to run me and my dogs down cause I was young blood and had a solid ( not the best) pack of hounds. So I opted to sale before I stooped to their levels. On average we caught 50-60 hounds a year ( no guns and I have ever catch recorded). We had a good time. Ill see if I can pull up more. I have some great videos also but not sure I need to post them lol. I would love to get a decoy dog though. With as many coyotes as I call I'd really enjoy a dog to help me out.

Really nice looking hounds, its to bad you dont have them anymore.

Looks like they were the real deal. The guys that ran ya down prob didnt like the fact they were getting shown up LOL.

Good luck with a decoy dog. Hope you find what you are looking for.

Tim

Nice pack you had there. It isnt easy having a pack that others would like to have. Leads to lots of trash talk, and drama. Thats when you just need to step away from the drama, and run all by your lonesome.

Great pics, thanks for sharing. Now lets see more!

thanks guys, maybe this weekend ill pull out some more pictures. Tim, if i still had them i would show ya some a good time. You got any good places to call dogs over in your ne ck of the woods? If your ever up for a little drive come over and do some calling with me. I even have a custom AR or two you can shoot if you like.

Timmy is way too imbread to go calling. All it does is confuse and scare him! plus you have to carry around a tall stool for him to stand on to see over any crp you may call in. It gets pretty tiresome.

Jesse, you little bastard LOL. Yote, we will have to hook up one day soon. I have some killer spots down here. Thanks for the offer.

You have my number call me when you get the chance.

Tim

Nothing like hunting with hounds, still got 5 hounds to chase yotes. We hardly ever shoot them either, catching the yote is the hounds reward.
