pine ridge scope warranty info

I have a pine ridge scope that was given to me, and the windage adjustment knob fell out...never seen or heard of that before. Anyway, Cabelas has a problem with me not having purchase information for warranty work. Does anybody know who actually makes the pine ridge scope line for Cabelas so I can get this resolved? I'm about done with Cabelas. Thanks for the help! Eric
 
No disrespect intended, I just looked at the pine ridge line on Cabelas website and they are a fairly low end scope and the reviews reflected that. You said the scope was "given" to you so with that being said, you are out no money.I would just shop around for a name brand scope in whatever your price range is..
Check your PM's might have something for you..
 
I agree with that, but what do you do? I know the scope is low end, but the principle is the same as a $1000 item. Anyway, I just want to know the actual manufacturer so I can take it up with them...
