The AR safety selector articulates forward for FIRE, same way a Remmy does
Forward....fire just makes more sense to me, but maybe I'm weird like that?
As for shotguns, even Mossberg is smart enough to use "forward to FIRE" safety, as are most other tang safety shotties.
I shoot a Benelli, which is the same "push in" (with the finger) to FIRE, same as Remmy shotguns. Although not "forward to FIRE", the finger does need to move forward to manipulate the safety into FIRE mode. SO, it's the same logical & natural movement...
MY buddy has an older Marlin 22mag boltgun with a bassackwards safety selector, so CZ ain't the only one to have it wrong
