Planning Arkansas hunt---question about coyote regs

Planning to visit my brother in Fort Smith next week to add an Arkansas coyote to my state total. Do I have to purchase the non-resident fur takers license in addition to a non-resident small game license? The Ark. website is not very specific about this particular reg. Any of you guys hunt coyotes on Fort Chaffee?
 
Yes you would . Because a coyote in Ark is a Furbearer. Is what the Game and Fish booket says. Plus on WMA like Fort Chaffee you can only use a 22 rimfire or a shotgun with shot no bigger than T's. Hope this helps.
5 day non res. small game lic. 55.00 dollars
non res fur taker permit. 100.00 dollars. To me it isnt worth it. Hope this helps VM
 
Thanks, guys. I was afraid of that. You know, I work for a state wildlife agency, but those Ark. coyote regs seem a little ridiculous. Just my opinion, though.
 
I hear you John they did have a 2 per day limit on coyotes. I keep email Mike F. one of the Com. of the board and they took the 2 day limit thing off. VM
