I shot a 222 for several years with great success until a "friend" stole it from me.
I shot 50 grain Sierra Spitzer Blitz bullets after finding that most bullets gave me runoffs. Not enough velocity to make the bullet perform. I went to the Sierra plant when they were still in California and asked what to do. They told me that the Blitz was made for the 222 as is the Hornady SX and the Speer TNT. When they exit they leave a golf ball size hole which isn't too bad. Keep you shots under 175 yards for best results. I loved my 222 and have always wanted another one.
