Polar bear in Newfoundland (video in link)

Good news, they won't eat you in one meal. Will be over the course of several days to a week. Enough time for searchers to recover part of you.
Lol, also maybe I should carry some form of identification that doesn’t get broken down and digested. In case they only find a leg or 2 by that time. They can find it in the scat 👍

Have y'all ever seen the pictures of the man and woman that were eaten by a bear about ten years ago? I remember the picture of the man's leg. The bears picked it clean like my gf eating a chicken wing.

Talked to a buddy at work last night about this. He said a few years ago 2 of his friends were hunting caribou and saw a polar bear. They were on snowmobiles and drove away. They stopped after a while and the polar bear showed up again. They left again, and after stopping again another half hour later it showed up again. After a couple times of this they decided the bear would just follow them back to their houses in the end so they unloaded on it and killed it. After calling wildlife to let them know they were allowed to keep the meat and the hide.
