Well guys Im probably about the poorest man on here but I do have a handful of nice hunting guns and equipment. (my questions)IS there any goverment land I could hunt out west for coyotes if I can get a plane ticket and go? I cant afford to pay a guide. Id love to hunt withTony Tebbe or Randy Anderson or another but dont see it happening.Maybe I dont need to go west but sure do like the looks of some of that country and Im sure its better hunting than we have her(indiana)The only other problem is getting time off at the right time to go. I only have a week vac and the wife wants me to go to Gattlensburg Tn like we did last year.Gee whiz I man needs some free tim to hunt. Whats the world coming to.LOL
Thanks Daryl P.

Thanks. Maybe I will get a ticket and out of state license and go sometime. Gotta research it and save up.I will get lost and never come home.LOL On purpose

Tons of public land in AZ and a three day hunting license is $63.00. The Navajo Reservation is 27000 square miles and a yearly license is $30.00.

You lucky dog, you can afford a plane ticket...

There you have it. AZ and New Mex are very hunter friendly states with tons of GOOD public lands to hunt. I started hunting Az as a starving college student with a breachloading Stevens .410 shotgun.

If you get hooked up with an AZ hunter you can get a "aprentice" license from an Az Game and Fish department office, which is a free 2 day license. You can look it up under complimentary licenses on www.azgfd.gov under hunting regulations.

Nevada. 90% public land and no license needed. Northern half of the state is better to hunt than the southern half. Drop the wife in Reno or Tahoe, rent an suv and go have fun.

Yup...most of my yote hunting is done in Nevada and I am not a resident nor do I have a Nevada hunting license. None needed, let em rott where they drop. But, if you harvest the fur, different story.

Yep. You could have went to the PM hunt a couple of weeks ago in Nex Mexico and hunted with some of the guys you mentioned for the price of travel expenses.

All of that hunting is on public land and you get to hunt and socialized with a great group of people.

Wish I could afford to leave my county to hunt much less head out west. Got a couple guys in the biz that want to hunt with me but I can't afford to get there. Frustraiting

Im thinking about making the PM hunt next year. Sounds like a good time.

Im watching Tony Tebbe's video as I write this. I love that he is telling me I dont suck.....and I am overthinking it all.

Tell your wife to get a boyfriend and have him take her to Gatlinburg.

Get a couple people together for the trip and gas will be less than airfair and rental car.

Your welcome in Utah! 80% public land and no license needed for coyotes, red foxes and raccoons. Go west young man!

Fly Southwest airlines, rent a car and camp, you could do the whole hunt for less than $500 and see some beautiful country as well

You should save up and make it happen. It would be nice to see everyone show up. There is a lot of hunting and just some good socializing that happens. I have not heard of anyone not having a great time.

Heck Yoteless I would tell the boyfriend to pay for the gas.

I would check the miles you would need to travel and what you get for milage on you vehicle before I drove instead of flying. Gas at 3.50 a gallon adds up fast

Those guys have some good advice right there! I know I had a blast down here, and there are plenty of coyotes. Not as many kills at the hunt this year, but I would say that is because the coyotes were out all night since we were having warm, calm, clear nights that were pretty bright from the moon just about full. Lord knows there was fresh sign just about everywhere I went to call!

If you fly and rent a veh, be sure it's 4WD and not one of those low to the ground soccer mom rigs!!! Most of the west turns to slick mud with a bit of rain!!!
