Powder H322 vs. IMR 4064

Anyone using H322 in their 22-250?? I currently use IMR 4064 and have had really good results in the past just wanted to try something different.
 
Dont have a 22-250, but all the guys I know with them shoot IMR-4320. Nice powder to work with BTW. H322 works well in my .243 for lighter bullet weights though so should work fine in your 250.

Just my opinion,If you're experiancing good result's with 4064 i'd stick with it.You know the "ole" saying if it ain't broke don't fix it /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

I guess i could dig through my reloading book's,I'm pretty certain H322 isn't a prefered powder among "two fiddy" owner's.I've used 4064,Varget,W760,H380..

H322 powder would not be on my list for experimentation for the 22/250.

Are you suggesting that it's a suitable powder for a 22/250 ?? I'm pretty sure that's what the originator of the thread was asking.
 
H-322 is really too fast for the 22-250, unless you are using really light bullets like 40s, and even then, it's still too fast. It is usable, if you ave a ton of it, but don't go buy it for the 22-250.
