Coykill, I apologize if I confused you by posting a pic of my setup with an electronic scale. You will be just fine trickling and using a beam scale. That is the way I started out, also. I just decided to switch over to an electronic, but my original 5-0-5 is a great scale too! I'm keeping it for a backup incase my 750 ever would act up. I agree with an earlier post that RCBS does make a new style trickler that is height adjustable and has a longer tube on it. I would check into that one because then it wouldn't matter if you ever switch scales down the road, it will work with anything you choose! Otherwise, you would have to possibly modify the standard one, like I did, to make it work with your scale. Let us know what you get!

I also have and prefer the Redding. My RCBS trickler now sits in a drawer somewhere. The Redding was one of the best handloading investments I have made IMO.
