PPU Brass

I have a 22-250 and local store has plenty of PPU ammo for a cheap price. Is their brass worth trying to reload, or should I buy more expensive ammo to save the brass?

PPU box of 20 for ~$16
Black hills in win brass for ~$28
Hornady ~ $24

I reload 308 ppu brass and it seems to work well enough. It seemed to be really hard brass to resize though but with properly lubed cases it's not a problem

I have gotten just the brass for various calibers. The only
one that I have experienced being rather hard was 7mm-08. The
.243 brass was fantastic as well as some for .25-06. Have a
hundred count for a .22-250, but haven't tried those yet.

I have only used it in .223 and the issue I have had is loose primer pockets after2-3 reloads. I am not prepping the pockets either. They have been moved to the plinking bucket.

I use PPU for loading up my 7-08 & .223, not a single issue and have over 6 loads on the 7-08 and 10 or so on the .223. I have a mixture of many brands of brass overall.

Prvi Partizan (PPU) brass is made in Serbia. It gives you a great bang for your buck. It's not Lapua, but you aren't paying that much either. PPU has been catching on for a lot of shooters over the past few years simply because of the availability and cost factors. There are more distributors for PPU than ever before and it's great for hunting and reloads. Though I stick with Lapua when shooting for ultimate accuracy (target shooting), I wouldn't hesitate to use it for hunting accuracy as a dead animal wouldn't know the difference of the make of the brass you used. But your wallet sure as heck would these days.
