Planning a trip out there in 2 weeks. Not looking for an insane amount of dogs but sure would like to get 2 solid days in of shooting.

Anyone have any experience shooting PDs out that way?

Figured the weather should still be warm enough to see some action and hopefully not too rainy making access difficult.
 
We took a trip there quite a while ago. In hindsight I have to say it was not great.

If I were to go back that way I would try to get some advance info on PDs. We found one town by a fair size pond with prairie dogs that went in the hole when they saw brake lights, and one by a farm that provided a few hours of good shooting.

This is not to say things can't change, just what I experienced 8 years ago.

Due diligence might make a difference.

Also, Bison is not that far, and perhaps you might find more PDs there.

Call the feed store, Tractor dealer, etc and see if you can pick someone's brain about locations.
