Prairie dog Hunting on TV Right Now....OutDoor CH.

lol I'm watching it too! ooo smoked another prarie dog, but by all means the dead prarie dogs aren't going to waste we're not just killing them....
 
It was Keith or Allen Warren's show, Chevy Sportsman. They sure were missing a lot. I guess if they showed them killing one every shot, the bunny huggers would think they were killing them all. They showed some hawks cleaning up the dead prairie dogs. They also showed a dead calf, suposedly killed by getting his leg stuck in a prairie dog hole. He also asked if anyone would like to have a bunch of rats in their back yard and said that a prairie dog is just another rodent. All in all, I'd say they did a good job on the show. It sure made me think about how many shells I've got loaded, and how very soon it will be time to head to north Texas to play!
 
I caught part of that also. That took a lot of guts on Keith's part to air a very non-PC show on popping prairie dogs. He did a good job explaining that they are nuisance prairie rats that damage range, livestock, and are a carrier of plague. I just wish more shows had the cajones to tackle some of these head on with good information........like predator hunting for example!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
