Does anyone have any info on the status of the dog towns around these areas? I am headed out there in 2 weeks and was just trying to find some info. Thanks.

Since no one has responded. I used to go to a walk in hunting spot in Comanche county. At the time it was the largest tract in that county. If you stay on the main road going into it you will see a town right off the road, but you got to be looking. It will be on the right side if your coming in from the north I believe. It wont look like much at first but once you go over the hill its a decent sized town.
I give this out to you and all because I'm in kansas city now and probably wont ever make it back down there anytime soon.
Maybe you guys already know about it but thats where I used to go besides the grasslands and we have already heard whats going on down there.

I heard they had done some poisoning around the Larned area last year. At one time you could get a list of landowners from the county noxious weed department. Check the dates on the walk in hunting because those tracts are restricted to certain times of the year without landowner permission.(Usually Sept 1 - Jan 31 and Apr 1 to end of May for turkey)
