Not the King of the mountain, but he'll do. And I know his address.

mtstcon -- I can't believe that you are really going to go after that little buck (mulie)..... Just kidding. He is real nice. I have never seen a real nice mulie, other than in pictures. Here in washington the mulies are in the central part of the state. And none of my hunting buddies want to go that far for deer. So far to date I have a trophy white tail and black tail, so the next big one I want to be a mulie.

Anyways I just want to say good luck. I hope it works out for you.

I am not after a record, I am after this guy. I been watching and learning about this buck's habits, haunts, and tendancies for sometime. He be just fine if I can stick him. I guess trophys are in the eyes of the beholder. Size does matter /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif , but I am having fun with this fellow.

mtstcon--- I agree with you. The trophy is in the eye of the beholder. Last year was my first year ELK hunting. And it was archery. I came home with a cow elk. And as far as I was concerned it was a trophy. At least for the next couple of years cows Wont bother me one bit. Now don't get me wrong, if a bull comes my way I hope to hang him on my wall.

MTSTCON; I have a question for you, I know a fellow who is going to have to turn in his Deer permit and ask for refund due to circumstances beyond his control.
By any chance do you know how Game&Fish reissues these? Do they go over the counter or do they offer them to someone who didn't get drawn for that area? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
Thanks-in-advance,

Hi Dan,
The local office said WG&F will only refund a license fee in the event of: Death of the person the license is issued to, or a letter from a doctor stating the person is incapable of hunting. Either of these and it has to be prior to the season opening. If there is a refund, the license is discarded and not reissued. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

You know you are still welcome to come cat & yote hunting this fall though. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hey Greg;
These may not be quite as big but there's more of'em!
Seven of his Southern Wyoming cousins, two had already shed. This picture was taken in Mid-January.

Greg;
Since you seem to have a handle on how to get a pic posted, ( /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif Seems to escape me LOL /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif ) could you post the pic I sent you?
/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
TIA.

Sorry ds2, you will have to come out here to play! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Greg
The fellow I told you about having to turn in his deer permit called last night and told me he will be done with harvest a full week early. So he'll be able to go on the hunt. I'm sure he will need the break, I'm happy for him. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
