Pred Sniper Stix or other suggestions?

Hey guys, thanks for all the great leads and suggestions. I found a set of barely used Stoney Point Pole Cats on Craigslist for $25, probably going to pick them up tomorrow.

I really like the looks of the Browning MOA Shooting Stix too - mite order a set of those too.

I've gotta respect the simplicity. I've got the Harris 23.5" attached to my rife, 'cause i wouldn't accept less. The lesson here is its about what works, not what costs more or looks awesome. Thanks for the reminder...

I did something similar with electronic fence stakes. I cut mine down to about 36" painted them in a camo pattern using krylon and some grass. Then I dipped the tops in plastic dip, put on a few coats of matte clear coat. And finally I cut a 3" piece of black rubber bungy cord, drilled two holes in it for the sticks, slid it on and viola - shooting sticks!

I also have a Harris bipod, Caldwell, and a stoney point mono-pod. They all work, some better than others in certain situations.

I've been thinking about trying a vanguard bipod and a snipe-pod. So many options!!!

I got the tubing and the castration bands at a farm supply store.
