What would you recommend? Just got done reading Major's book, good stuff by the way.

I like reading about the good ol days and the pioneers of this sport.

+1 on "Predator Calling" I read the entire book in one rainy afternoon/night. I couldnt put it down. The man has a very down home sense of writing and it makes for entertaining and educating reading.

G. Blair writes a must read book (with Predator Calling) on poppin predators, I love his style of writing, true action mixed with comedic antidotes. Very informative. Another good read is Call of the Coyote by J. Frank Dobie, good info and ol' time thump downs. The Coyote Hunter, written by Laubach, Griswold, and Henckel has some of the best of both old school and modern predator hunting. Little known but good reading is a series of hunting adventures called Hunting American Lions and Hunting American Bears by Frank C. Hibben. Deals with mostly hound hunting, but great reading for the hunting adventure type. Another great read on true hunting adventure is The Ben Lilly Legend, by J. Frank Dobie, an incredable story of what some consider the last real mountain man in the last real American wilderness, hunting the last of the southwestern grizzlies. A must read.
