I think it would be of interest to all if they were aware of any predator calling clubs in their state. In my home state of California, there are 7 such clubs that I know of (all are in southern California). Arizona has 3 clubs that I'm aware of. What other states have predator calling clubs?

I don't know of any in WA but there may be one or two. I've often thought about trying to organize one but that's about as far as that got. LOL

Critter Gitter, yes I do remember. go to www.varmintcallers.com and look under history of calling. I was a member of Long Beach chapter 15, So Cal chapter 16 and I started High Desert Predator Callers chapter 18. I joined the California Varmint Callers Asso in 1975. Good Hunting

When I became a member, in 1964, I joined the South Bay Chapter. At that time, So. Bay and Pasadena were "THE" chapters.
So. Bay died, joined Torrance, then moved to Orange County, attended a couple of Long Beach meetings and didn't care much for the crowd at that time, eventually became a member of Orange County until 1992 when I hung it up.

Gritter Gitter, I have to know who you are then. I remember the old South Bay chapter and some of it's members, I also know many of the Orange county members. I started calling in 64, but like I said, I didn't join the assocition till 75. Hey!!! you got to be old like me? Small world huh? hehehe. Good Hunting

theres an awful lot of public land crammed full of dogs and cats. enough up here that a guy could hunt every day in a new spot and never go to the same place twice. what is the reason for a predator hunting club? is it forthe comeradery? i do understand that. i only know one other person who shares the passion i have for hunting meat eaters.

Critter Getter, yes I know all of those names and most of those guys know me. So when are we goin huntin? I live in ole Roy Rogers country(Apple Valley). I'm not old enough to retire yet numerically but I'm gettin close, pushin 60. I'm now in the process of owning a saloon and grill here in Apple Valley. If everything goes as planned, we should be taking over in November. That will be cat season. You wanna come out for a few nights of wild wild western hospitality? We could talk about the "good ole days". Swap lies and all that stuff. hehehe Let me know....Good Hunting
