I plan on being more prepared this year for coyote hunting this year and am making a checklist, what do you think i am missing? I plan on hunting all day and don't want to have to walk back to vehicle for stuff i forgot. All this stuff shoudl fit in a daypack or on my person.
Rifle / Ammunition
Binoculars
Knives (2)
Multi-tool
Knife Sharpener
Coyote Howler
Distress Calls (2)
Mouse Squeaker
Rope / String
Mini-saw
Camo Suit (jacket, pants, gloves, mask)
Towel / Cloth / rags
Garbage / Plastic Bags
Lighter / kindling
Flashlight
Trail Marker
First-aid Kit
Scent-away spray / cover scent
Lunch

Cell phone, GPS, two way radio, compass, map. Always let someone know what channel on the radio. All this could help emergency personel find you.

How about a couple of pairs of rubber gloves, just in case you decide to skin the animal right away? You can't be too careful while skinning an animal. MI VHNTR

Baby Wipes. I always have a pack in the Jeep and the rest of my vehicles. It's a Marine habit, too many deployments in the Moon Dust of the Southern AZ desert. But they do come in handy.

WATER! I never forget when hunting, but I can't seem to remeber it when going to the range. Everyone is helping to make a great list!

Now that everyone has an idea of what to put in a daypack which type/brand works the best? Recently I took up archery again (Got my buck here NV!!!) and started to put everything in a daypack. I would like to have a daypack that would carry arrows as well as ammo should I decide to go with the rifle instead. Instead of having 5 different daypacks to do the same basic job minus being a quiver also. What suggestions do you all have? I have seen daypack/quiver combos in Bass Pro Shops for the whopping price tag of $130 that didn't look like they would carry what we have mentioned. Although they did appear to be made to be pretty quiet. I can think of alot of things to do with $130 that does make noise!!!

SKOAL! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif
Extra mesh headnet so when yours falls out of your pocket on the way to the stand your big white face isn't a "Go Away" beacon for the hunted /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif
.22 pistol just in case
TOILET PAPER!!! (cause your wife can't see the logic behind why the tops of your socks are cut off after a hunt /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif)
Trashcan

I thought that I was the only one that has done that.... That's so funny how alike we hunters are.

You know, you can get 4 good squares out of a pair of briefs, which both serves to clean your bottom and give you a thong at the same time. Or so I've heard.
