I have multiple colors including blue, green, red, and yellow. The reason I ask is because the yellow filter is probably 10X brighter than the red filter.

So Will a yellow light work on predators and hogs?

With that being said your right it is more about intensity than color, but most people don't have the proper lighting techniques down perfect. So Red is a much better choice for the majority of people calling anywhere in this country. Alot also has to to with light conditioning and the distance you have to condition them to the lights and also the . All colors of light can be used to hunt with, but the majority will do better with RED over any other as it i the least obtrusive to most animals being hunted.
On another note check out www.shop.boondock-outdoors.com or www.allpredatorcalls.com as we are both sponsors here that carry a variety of quality hunting lights in every color imaginable. And we are sponsors of this fine site.

Can see way better with a white light. Ive hunted with both and if I had to hunt with a red light I would probably just stay home. Thats just me. With that being said you cant go wrong with anything from boon docks. Never heard anything bad about them guys. So who you may but white light for this guy. Its not hard to learn to run a light with a dimmer.
