I run across dog owners that don't keep their dogs up, and let them run where they want and do what they want...which usually includes killing things.
They act surprised and upset when the dogs are killed and they are presented with a bill for the damage to the livestock or other animals.
I hear you on avoiding the deer. I have several snares down here, and would love to snare some hogs, coyotes and other things, but I know if I work the slides, I'll catch more deer than anything else..
