What do you guys do to change things up when you know an area has been called a lot? Besides find another area. I had a feeling I was going to get that response. Seems like coyote calling is the fastest growing sport these days. I heard more vocalizations is a good idea but thought it would start a good debate.

+1. Most people are lazy. If you can find a spot with no vehicle access, you have found a spot with much less pressure. Other than that, I would use hand calls and vocals. Also be prepared for longer shots with educated coyotes hanging up further out.
 
I hunt some pretty pressured easy to access areas but find if I walk 1/2 mile to a mile off the road the dogs act normal again. Also note that pressured dogs will usually try to circle you to test the wind before committing. Make sure you have the downwind side covered or you will further educate them. Good luck!!
 
Also, be prepared for animals to approach from areas that are not typical. Sometimes having a partner watch an area behind you will result in takin an animal you alone would have never seen.

You really think hand calls are better? That's all i use but I swear if I had $500 to burn I would buy an ecaller in an instant.

Like others have said go the extra mile. Another thing is use sounds that no one else would, fox fight has worked wonders lately. Or hand calls if everyone in your area is using electronics to beat them up, fox pros all sound exactly the same. Hand calls open alot of diffrence even if someone has the same exact call as you it wont sounds the same.
 
You need to try all the above advice. It all looked good to me. I have several e callers but I would advise mixing mouth calls with e caller sounds.
 
I can't say for sure they are better for all purposes, but my point was like steveB22-250 said. They sound different. I'm also GUESSING that guys that won't put effort into walking, won't put effort into hand calling and use electronic instead (not trying to open a can of worms, just my theory). That being said, I have a Foxpro scorpion X1A that I REALLY like. Another good tool in my bag of tricks, just not my ONLY trick.
 
Changing up sounds and staying on stand for longer periods of time has worked for me before.I think sometimes there just not gonna come no matter what you do though.
 
Coyote hunting is no passing phase for sure, lots of people are getting in to it. I've already started switching sounds birds, rodents.... Call at a lower volume and play the wind. Won't be long there will be so many people hunting them that the playing field will even up for all of us.
 
If there is heavy cover around don't try calling them out of it but try and find some open areas in the cover and call there. They seem to let there guard down a little if they can stay in their comfort zone.

Lots of good info in response. Only thing I'll add and it's pretty much been already been said, "THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX". Seems as [beeep] everyone has become a predator caller around my area. The lack of pheasants has got the bird hunters calling predators like I've never seen before. Did have time to call in a pair this morn using nothing more than a rubber squeaker.
