Hey guys and gals,

New member here although I've followed the forum for a long while. I was curious if any of you have tried the Primary Arms 4-14x44 FFP scope. I'm looking for a scope in the $250-$300 range for one of my varmint guns. I like the idea of trying the FFP as well. Has anyone had any good or bad experiences with this scope? It seems to have some reviews saying that it out performs most others in that price category with those features but like I said I've followed this forum for a while and I know that you guys have real work experience. Input much appreciated.

229.00 on a large interweb site, lots of reviews. Most have had good luck with them, calling them a good entry-level ffp scope. Most problems refer to the turret markings(not matching) and feel(mush). A few manufacturing slip ups, guessing there is not much of a QC station in the Chinese plant. Good luck, give us a first hand report.

Loving my 4-14X R-Grid reticle. Those optics are reported to have a lot of turret adjustment range in them, and it's true--mine does. Mine tracks true and returns to zero no problem.

It's a good scope for the price point the clicks do feel a little mushy but there positive clicks .mine tracks well it's in mildly reticle. This one is on my stag arms model 6L coyote gun was shooting out some new hand loads today and when I was thru I did some gong shooting to 400 yard with no problem. The glass is decent but don't expect it to be as good as a1000. Scopes glass.
