My hunting buddy got one a year ago, he had a small FoxPro that was a real irritation, hence the Alpha Dog.
I got an Alpha Dog also, we've used them over that time frame, no problem so far on either one.
We got them on sale, close to 200, and they're well worth it.
Last weekend we hunted afternoon, over-night, next morning, cold for Georgia (23 F), 12 stands.
We saw 2 yotes, I shot at one on the run & missed (jerked it left), and heard 2 more, all of which was good for the area we hunt.
Both of these charged the decoy plus Alpha Dog.
We used my Alpha Dog hard all the time and added his Alpha Dog a few times to get a variety of sounds going.
I used Energizer 2300 ma Ni-MH AAs in the speaker and they were not quite half gone when I checked this AM.
Had some spare AAs in the truck, but didn't need them.
