primos power dog?

Wasn't downing on Randy Anderson personally. I've always had the highest level of respect for him, his ability, and his production hand calls. However, with my past experience with the Power Dog, I was saying that I was disappointed to see Randy Anderson put his mark of approval on it. Oh I know that he works for Primos and that they use his reputation to sell their predator products....just not happy with the Power Dog's performance (or lack thereof). The fact that I put in 8 hours of travel time in an attempt to purchase a Power Dog that actually worked, yet had no success probably also plays into my overall negative feelings towards the product.

I would imagine that would kinda rub ya the wrong way.Originally Posted By: alphayoteWasn't downing on Randy Anderson personally. I was thinking about buying a Powerdog. Cabela's has them for $100. But after reading all these replies, I will wait to save up a little more money.

You'll be a lot happier saving your money for a Foxpro or other quality E-caller. I've never had any experience with the Power Dogg, but I've really never read too many good things about them. On the other hand, I have owned a Foxpro FX3 for about three years now and couldn't be happier.

In general you get what you pay for (with the exception of my $300 Savage Stevens 200 tack driver). Now that's a good bargain!
