Primos Sit N Spin?

I was wondering what your thoughts are on the Primos Sit N Spin? I have one but was thinking about getting one from Foxpro. The only reason I was thinking about getting a new one was because the Sit N Spin only turns one way and you cannot run it from a remote it runs constantly. I think its just too repetitive (maybe they figure out its not food) and I can't turn it off with remote if I'm only doing vocals. Maybe I'm just thinking too much like a person and not thinking like a dog? I know I have called in more critters (no kills yet) when I was not using it but maybe it was just coincedence? Thanks for reading.
 
I bought the foxjack this fall and was considering selling it. It just hasn't been as useful as I thought for night time calling. It did work well in attracting attention when I did call a few in during the daylight hours. Let me know if your interested.

splice it into your on/off switch.
 
5sp, have you tried this? If so how much trouble is it to do? Any soldering and how fragile is the wire and all after its converted? Thanks
 
^^ I have not done it yet, may do it this weekend. Cord is not fragile as its a standard 3.5mm wire and very flexable, just like a usb cord on your computer. You can cut n splice & tie then wrap in elect tape or solder. I will solder mine.
