Primo's Trigger Stick Monopod

It's a mono-pod shooting stick that adjusts by one finger pulling the trigger.

You get about 0-18" adjustment via the trigger. Picked up the standing/kneeling model today; the bottom section is adjusted by a twist. Seems to work very well. Needs a camo pattern.
I'll use this when walkin'. I've had to pass on a couple of yotes when caught without my 12VLP on bi-pod. Just couldn't hold steady enough off hand while standin'.

I have been thinking about buying one but I didn't know how well made they are and no one around here carries them. I guess I will have to order from Cabelas. Are they pretty well made?

Another thing I discovered is the bottom has what looks like a 1/2" female bolt thread in it protected by the cover. Could be used for a homemade adapter to stick in the ground etc...

coyoteman23,
I noticed that a couple on the end-cap didn't seem to work properly. But they appeared as if someone had been trying to find out how they work; parts loosened on them. I guess it could have been poor assembly at the factory but I don't think so. You could play it safe and wait till you can get your hands on one to make sure it works properly.

I have both the short and the tall one and they are sturdy, light weight and work well. I use them, sitting or standing, mainly to keep a shotgun in shooting position while on a stand. Don't really need to shoot from a rest at 40-50 yards with a shotgun. I prefer shooting sticks for a rifle because of the increased stability.
