I bought a Primos Varmint Hunting Light Nightblaster 100 Yard Gun Light Kit

does anyone have experience with this?

We have used them on our shotguns and it works pretty well on them but your not going to positively ID at 100 yards with it though.

I overcharged the battery on mine using the supplied charger. I wouldn't let it charge more than an hour or two.

The light has been durable enough. I use it on a shotgun.
 
+1 for shotgun,I wouldn't use it on a Rifle

IMHO , pack it up, ship it back and get a 100 yd kill light for 30 more dollars. the primos light is about a MAX effective range of 50 yds and that battery wont last more than about 2 hours max
 
Was happy to find the packaging mine came, so I can return it. Would probably work fine, as said, for shotgunning. But even then, for the money, its not worth it. Had what I thought was a fox hang up at 50 yards last night but I still couldnt identify...
