Problems with 204 ruger 39 gr. sierra blitzking bullets

I'm no pro on the matter either. My 204AR has about 1300rnds through it and still shoots great. I mainly use the SBK 39 bullets and have never had any problems. IDK if it's right or wrong, but after about every 100rnds I pull a bore snake with Hoppes on it through a couple of times. Any body have opinions on my method???

Years ago, when I first started shooting prairie dogs, we used a bore snake. Would temporarily get you back to shooting, but like using a band-aid. You're still layering copper and carbon and a bore snake isn't going to touch that. After 40 rounds or so, I do a complete cleaning with Wipe Out, Accelerator, and a nylon brush in my .204's. My 20 VT will go a lot longer than that. I've used a lot of other products throughout the years, but for now am happy with Wipe Out.

I used all the same stuff and always cleaned really good after ever shooting.
