Pulsar Thermal Lanyard Options

I just got an xq23v. What are people using for lanyards on their thermal spotters? I have been going with Varminter 223 and been putting his thermal in my pocket when its go time. Not ideal with the extended batter pack.

On my HD19A, I used the 1/4" X 20 screw hole and a short 1/4" X 20 bolt to attach a bino neck strap. It's not "purdy" but it works.

I am running a Pulsar Helion XP38. I have been using a Molle waterpouch and have it on my hunting harness that I wear. I put the monocular in the pouch when not in use. It is a little too deep, as I want it easy to remove, so I put a piece of foam at the bottom. This works great. It even has a strap if you are crossing a fence etc and don't want it accidently falling out of the pouch.

One thing about using a monocular is after a few stands of constantly scanning, it can be very hard on your arms/shoulders. I have been attaching a telescoping selfie stick to the monocular. This way you can have your arm down and just rotate the stick as you turn your head. It takes a lot of the wear and tear away from your arm and shoulder without using a helmet.

I just use a binocular lanyard attached to a small split ring on the scanner.
I have also used a split ring, locking SBiner, and a homemade paracord lanyard.
