No worries. Alot of us are here to help one another, share experiences, and/or enjoy what we do.
In short, No matter which way I turn and/or move the AD QD Recon there is not enough room to get the pic rail mounted brass catcher to work and get proper eye relief on two bolt guns. I use Lapua 243 brass (neck turned, fire formed, and shoulder bumped .002") and 450 BM brass (395gr subsonic loads for areas that are limited to 75yds). Kicking around the idea of building AR's in these two calibers, but I have my loads worked out in the BA's and both are deadly accurate. There's only been a few times that more than one predator came in where I had to work the bolt fast and lost brass. In the grand scheme of things, brass is cheap compared to everything else and not that big of a deal since I mainly hunt predators Nov-March.
I do have other AR's in various calibers, brass catchers work well, and I use them mainly for hunting hogs.
Time to gather my cast net and go catch shad for this evenings fishing trip.
